4 Age Groups — Boys Only

Each division runs independently with its own pool stage and finals bracket. Minimum 8 teams per division required to run.

Under 13s

Boys born 2013 or later. 5-a-side cage football. If entries overfill, division splits into pools.

Under 14s

Boys born 2012 or later. 5-a-side cage football. If entries overfill, division splits into pools.

Under 16s

Boys born 2010 or later. 5-a-side cage football. Fast, physical, high-intensity tournament play.

Under 18s

Boys born 2008 or later. 5-a-side cage football. The elite division — showcase your talent on the biggest stage.

How It Works on the Pitch

Purpose-built cage football. No out of bounds. No waiting. Just pure, fast, relentless 5-a-side.

5-a-Side Cage Football

Played inside purpose-built floodlit cages. Walls are in play — no throw-ins, no stoppages. Non-stop, fast-paced action.

2 x 12 Minute Halves

Each game fits a 30-minute time slot. Running clock. Quick turnaround between matches.

2 Games Per Day

Every team plays at least 2 games per match day. 6 games minimum over the 3-day tournament.

Max 9 Players Per Squad

5 on the pitch, up to 4 subs. Free substitutions at the gate. Rolling subs keep the intensity high.

Teams Bring Own Kit

Each team must supply their own bibs or matching jerseys. SRF provides match balls, referees, and officials.

Coach/Manager Required

Every team needs a nominated coach or manager as the single point of contact. Responsible for gear, lineup, and waiver.

1st place in each division receives the IFF Champions trophy — designed for the school trophy cabinet.

Top goal scorer in each division takes home the Golden Boot award. Every goal counts across all 3 match days.

One team per division recognised for fair play, respect, and representing the spirit of the game.

3 Steps to Register

Registration is simple. Get your team in early — spots are limited.

Register Your Team Online

Fill in the registration form with your team name, coach/manager details, division, and squad size. Pay the $550 team entry fee to lock in your spot.

Receive Your Draw

Once registrations close, we'll publish the pool draw and match schedule. Your coach/manager gets all communications directly.

Turn Up & Compete

Arrive 15 minutes before your first game. Bring your own team kit (bibs/jerseys), boots, shin pads, and water. We handle everything else.

What Coaches & Managers Need to Know

Registration: The coach or manager registers the team. You are the single point of contact for all tournament communications.

Squad: Maximum 9 players per team. You must provide a squad list before the first match day. Players cannot be added after pool play begins.

Kit: Your team must supply matching bibs or jerseys. SRF provides match balls, referees, and officials. No bibs will be supplied by the venue.

Match Day: Arrive at least 15 minutes before your first game. Check in at the registration desk. Confirm your squad. Collect your pitch allocation.

Waiver: All players must have a signed waiver on file. The coach/manager is responsible for ensuring every player's waiver is completed at registration.

Weather: Street Rulz is all-weather. Games continue rain or shine. Only lightning suspends play.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost? +
$550 per team for the full 3-day tournament (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The Pre-Cup Clinic on Thursday is an optional add-on at $60 per player.
What age groups are running? +
Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 16s, and Under 18s — boys only. Each division needs a minimum of 8 teams to run.
How many players per team? +
Maximum 9 players per squad. 5 on the pitch at any time with free rolling substitutions at the gate.
How many games does each team play? +
Minimum 6 games — 2 per match day across 3 days. Teams that advance to finals play additional knockout games on Sunday.
Do we need our own jerseys? +
Yes. Each team must bring their own matching bibs or jerseys. Street Rulz Football does not supply bibs for the tournament.
What time do games start and finish? +
First game kicks off at 8:30am. Matches run in 30-minute slots. Finish time is approximately 1:30pm depending on the number of teams.
What's the match format? +

Can schools or clubs enter multiple teams? +
Absolutely. Schools and clubs can register multiple teams across different age groups. Each team needs its own coach/manager and registration.

4 awards per division: Champions Cup (1st), Runners-Up & 3rd Place Medals, Golden Boot (top scorer), and Team Sportsmanship Award.
What if it rains? +
Street Rulz is all-weather. Games only pause for lightning. The cages are designed for play in all conditions.
