Flood & Fire Evacuation Procedure
The Street Rulz Football facility at 40 Andrews Road, Tallebudgera QLD 4228 may be subject to flooding and fire risk. All players, spectators, and visitors must familiarise themselves with the following procedures.
In an emergency, call 000 (Triple Zero) immediately.
1. Awareness
You acknowledge that the Street Rulz Football facility may be subject to flooding. On arrival at the venue, familiarise yourself with the flood-evacuation signage and site map posted at the entry gate and near the canteen. Know where the designated assembly point is before you start playing.
2. Alerts & Warnings
If staff or our automated alert system instructs you to evacuate, you must do so immediately. Do not continue your game or return to collect personal items. Listen for:
- Verbal instructions from SRF staff or referees
- SMS alerts sent to the contact number provided at booking
- Air horn or PA system announcements
- Queensland Government emergency alerts on your mobile
3. Assembly Point
Proceed calmly to the designated assembly point (indicated on our signage and site map). Wait there for further instructions from staff or emergency services. Do not leave the assembly point until given the all-clear.
4. No Re-Entry
Do not re-enter the facility until staff confirm it is safe. This applies to all areas including pitches, car park, canteen, and amenities.
5. Contact Information
The person making the booking (captain or organiser) must provide a reachable mobile phone number so we can send evacuation instructions via SMS if necessary. Ensure your phone is accessible during your session.
6. Fire Evacuation
In the event of fire:
- Alert staff and other players immediately
- Do not attempt to fight the fire unless it is safe and you have access to an extinguisher
- Evacuate via the nearest exit to the assembly point
- Call 000 if emergency services have not been contacted
- Do not re-enter the facility
7. Liability
Failure to follow our flood or fire evacuation instructions may void your insurance coverage. Street Rulz Football is not liable for any injury or loss arising from your non-compliance with these procedures.
If severe weather, flooding, or mandatory closure causes us to cancel your booking, we may offer a credit or refund at our discretion.
